Text: John 5:17; Psalm 145:1–7

This Sunday, Pastor Abraham reminded us that God is always working—yes, even in the moments we don’t feel or see Him clearly. From the valleys to the mountaintops, from answered prayers to unanswered questions, God is not absent. He is active.

In John 5:17, Jesus said, “My Father is always working, and so am I.” That truth holds steady today. Your ability to see God in every situation will change the way you pray, persevere, and praise.

🔎 Seven Ways to Recognize God in Your Situation:

1. Practice listening to God’s voice through your spirit
📖 1 Kings 19:11–12
God often speaks in a still, small voice. The more you tune out noise, the more you’ll hear the whisper of His presence and direction—even in chaos.

2. Look for sudden turns that spark hope
📖 Genesis 37:18–28
What looks like a setback (Joseph being sold) may actually be a setup for purpose. The turning point might not make sense now, but it’s God moving.

3. Recognize divine provision, even in dry places
📖 Genesis 21:14–20
When Hagar thought it was over, God opened her eyes to a well. Sometimes, the miracle is already near—you just need divine vision to see it.

4. Don’t ignore small signs of answered prayer
📖 1 Kings 18:44; Nehemiah 2:4–8
A small cloud. A royal favor. The beginning of a breakthrough is still a breakthrough. Celebrate every evidence that God heard you.

5. When the worst didn’t happen—give God thanks
📖 Daniel 3:19–25
Even if you’re in the fire, you’re not consumed. If it could’ve been worse, but wasn’t—God is already at work.

6. Unnatural hindrances can reveal God’s hand
📖 Numbers 22:22–31
Balaam’s donkey saw what Balaam couldn’t. When something “blocks” your plans unexpectedly, pause—it could be divine protection.

7. When your results are beyond your ability—acknowledge His favor
📖 Psalm 44:1–3
Doors opened. Victories won. Progress made—not by your might, but by God’s grace. Recognize His fingerprints on your achievements.

💬 Encouragement for the Week:
Sometimes God hides in plain sight—not because He wants to confuse you, but because He wants you to seek Him more intentionally. The question is not, “Is God in this?” but “How is God in this?” Look deeper. He’s closer than you think. 👀✨
