As I stand here today to acknowledge Jesus as the Lord of all, I confess Him as my personal Lord and Savior. I believe He is the sinless Son of God born of a virgin. He lived a perfect life of obedience to God.

He came into the world to save humanity from God’s wrath. By hanging on the cross of Calvary, He accomplished His purpose. I believe He reconciled a sinful man with a holy God. Through my faith in Jesus’ finished work, I know I now have peace with God.

When Jesus died on the cross, I believe He was buried and rose from the dead on the third day. I believe He ascended to the right hand of the Father, and that He is coming again to take me to where He is.

Today, as I publicly confess Him as my Lord, I am saved from God’s wrath. I am now a friend of God. I have been rescued from the kingdom of darkness and transferred to God’s kingdom of light and peace. I now sit with Jesus Christ in heavenly places, far above principalities and powers.

Because I am positioned with Jesus Christ to exercise dominion over demons, diseases, death, and destruction, the fear of death, lack, the future, darkness, and the unknown have lost their hold over me forever. I have been purchased with the priceless blood of the Lamb of God, and I belong to Him forever and ever. Amen.
