Our Vision & Mission

Vision Statement

Our vision is to walk in God's love and give it away, until the whole earth is filled with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord.

Mission Statement

To impact the world by welcoming and responding to God's presence personally and corporately, communicating effectively, and developing world class leaders in every sphere of life.

Core Values

Our core values are the underlying principles that guide us in making decisions, determining priorities, setting goals, allocating resources and carrying out programs. They are the defining characteristics of Christian Fellowship for All Nations (CFAN-Chicago) and are drawn from biblical teachings.

There are two directives of Jesus that we lean on for our values. The great command requires us to learn how to love God, love others and love ourselves. The great commission requires that we win souls, connect followers, disciple and send out leaders who are immersed in all aspects of the Trinity.

We value hearing God’s Voice

Every follower of Jesus is designed to communicate with God. God speaks to us through a variety of ways and means. Our response is to listen, and in turn, talk to God through prayer, obey Him, and learn to be a doer of His Word.

John 10:3-4, Hebrews 1:1-2, 1 Thessalonians 5:17, James 1:22

We value knowing God as Father

Experiencing God as our true Father just like Jesus did will change our lives. Every child of God needs to feel, know, and experience the unconditional, extravagant love of Father God.

John 14:6-13, Luke 15:11-32, Romans 8:35-38

We value healing life’s hurts

Before we can truly love others, we must love ourselves and that means allowing the Spirit of God to transform our spirit, soul and body. Our Father is able to reveal to us issues & hurts that need healing. The Holy Spirit knows what we need to believe and receive in order to become whole.

2 Corinthians 7:1, 2 Corinthians 3:18, John 16:14, John 15:1, 1 Thessalonians 5:23

We value empowering in the anointing

The anointing is the power of the Holy Spirit for breakthroughs from poverty, brokenness, ill health, and oppression from demonic forces, that takes us into incredible favor. We desire for all to receive these breakthroughs and then to release the anointing to others.

Luke 4:16-21, Luke 9:1-6, Luke 10:1-9

We value multiplication of leaders

Everyone can be a person of influence, a leader, a disciple for Christ. As we hear God’s voice, receive His unconditional love, deal with our issues, and receive His anointing, we become more like Jesus in character, anointing and authority. We are commissioned by Him to go out into all the world, share it and make disciples of all nations.

Matthew 9:35-38, Matthew 28:16-20, 2 Timothy 2:2

Our Pastor

Olusola Abraham Adesayo

Founder & Senior Pastor

Pastor Olusola Abraham Adesayo is the founder and Senior Pastor of Christian Fellowship for All Nations Ministry (CFAN-Chicago), located in Chicago, Illinois which is a thriving church, rapidly growing, and built on the power of the word of God and prayer.

He has been ministering full time since 1996 and has served in two other ministries prior to becoming Senior Pastor at CFAN-Chicago. His audience –fans and critics alike –spans the theological and cultural left and right. He is well known for his innate ability to shift the body of Christ through extensive study of the Bible and intense prayer and fasting.

Pastor Abraham received a B.A. in English from the University of Ilorin (Nigeria), a Diploma in Religious Studies and is the author of six books. Pastor Adesayo is an avid teacher in the Word of God and believes strongly in the Grace of God as the only thing worthy of our boasting.

With a skillful mix in his presentation, clear biblical teaching, and compassion for those who are hurting the most –in particular, marriages on the verge of divorce and victims of abuse and assault –Abraham has taken biblical Christianity into cultural corners previously unexplored by evangelicals.

Pastor Adesayo is a lover of music and his best instrument is Tenor Saxophone. Overall, his greatest joy, which remains one of the driving forces behind his passion for prayer and fasting programs, is to see God’s people immensely blessed by empowering them through the word of God and the gifts of the Spirit from within.

Membership

As a growing church, CFAN-Chicago relies on members to support our ministry and to carry out much of the work required to help accomplish our mission to have as many people meet Jesus as possible. It’s a high calling that takes hard work –but it’s also the most rewarding work.

The leadership of CFAN-Chicago strives to love and care for its members well. In turn, we rely on our members to accomplish our collective work as the church. As an organization, we operate with minimal staff, budget, and programming because we trust the Holy Spirit to move through the transformed hearts of our members, mobilizing the collective body of Christ in humble ways to love the city, love our family, and glorify God on His terms.
