  • We are encouraged not to forsake gathering together (Hebrews 10:24-25).
  • Even Jesus made it His custom to attend church (Luke 4:16-18).
  • The apostles followed Jesus’ example (Acts 2:42).
  • God designed the church to be the head in the world (Ephesians 1:19-23, CEV).
  • The church is where you are spiritually nurtured, cared for, and instructed in the things of God, especially eternal life (John 21:15-17; 2 Timothy 2:15, NIV).
  • The church is called the Bride of Jesus (Ephesians 5:25-27, 32).
  • It is also the fellowship of Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 1:8-9).
• Commit to a daily devotion that includes personal Bible study and prayer (Psalm 63:1; Psalm 119:9-11).
• Allow God to remove anything that hinders your transformation into His image (Romans 12:1-12).
• Be humble enough to submit to spiritual authority, especially for correction (Genesis 16:9; Hebrews 13:17).

Pastor Abraham reminded us that spiritual maturity is not just about knowing the Bible but living it out daily, staying rooted in a local church, and allowing God to shape us into His image.
