On Sunday, Pastor Abraham continued his timely and soul-stirring series with a focus on “A Few Causes of Weariness.” He reminded us that even the strongest believers can feel tired, but the Word of God gives us tools to overcome. Don’t ignore the signs—refuse to let weariness slow your walk with God.

🔍 Causes of Weariness:

Recurring disappointments or battles can make anyone feel stuck. Like the woman with the issue of blood (Mark 5:25–29), it’s easy to lose hope after years of struggle.

Giant obstacles can appear immovable. But God’s Word says, “Who are you, O great mountain?” (Zech. 4:7)—God makes the impossible possible.

Active persecution and opposition may come when you are building something for God (Neh. 4:1–3). Stay focused on your assignment.

Overwhelming demands of daily life often leave little room for rest or refueling (Matt. 11:28). But Jesus says, “Come to Me… and I will give you rest.”

Lack of gratitude from those you serve can hurt deeply. Like David and Nabal’s story (1 Sam. 25:14–25), don’t let unthankful people steal your joy or derail your service.

🛑 Why You Cannot Afford to Be Weary:

🌾 Your harvest will always be greater than your seed.
Your consistency in sowing—even when tired—will produce miracles (2 Kings 4:8–17; 2 Kings 8:1–6).

📌 Your investment is in God, not people.
What you do for others is remembered in heaven (Matt. 25:34–36; Matt. 10:42). God repays.

👣 You don’t know how many lives depend on your faithfulness.
Like Joseph (Gen. 50:18–20), your obedience could be the key to someone else’s breakthrough.

🗝 How to Overcome Weariness:

  1. Remember you’re working for God (Acts 10:38; Col. 3:23–24). That’s the highest calling and the most rewarding assignment.

  2. God sees and will reward you (Matt. 6:2–4). He never forgets your faithfulness, even when others do.

  3. Don’t let your challenges overshadow your purpose (Gen. 40:5–22). Even in prison, Joseph interpreted dreams—stay purpose-driven.

  4. Invest in those who uphold your hands (Psalm 54:4). Your strength multiplies when you’re surrounded by encouragers.

  5. Trust God’s timing (Gen. 41:1). The wait may be long, but when it comes, it will be worth it.

  6. Your harvest depends on you not giving up (Gal. 6:9). Stay in position.

  7. Operate in the Spirit, not the flesh (Gal. 5:17). Only the Spirit can sustain you when the flesh is tired.

💬 Encouragement for the Week:

God knows the weight you carry. But He also knows the harvest that’s coming. Stay strong. Stay faithful. You are closer than you think. 🙏🏾✨
