Today, March 2nd, 2025, Pastor Abraham spoke on “A Few Benefits of Spiritual Growth,” and it was a strong reminder of why we should never stay stagnant in our walk with God. He opened with 1 Corinthians 13:11, emphasizing that growing spiritually helps us mature in every aspect of life.

One key point was that spiritual growth improves your relationship with God (John 6:15, 22-27). When we grow, we desire more of Him and seek His presence beyond just our needs. Pastor Abraham also highlighted that spiritual growth prepares you for service (Matt 9:37–38; 1 Cor 14:26, TLB; John 20:21). As we mature, we’re able to contribute meaningfully to the body of Christ—whether through teaching, encouragement, or other forms of ministry.

Another benefit is that spiritual growth makes you strong in your spirit (Luke 2:40; Eph 6:10) and attracts spiritual blessings into your life (Gal 4:1-2). Pastor Abraham also emphasized how it deepens your faith in God (Acts 12:5-6; Matt 8:23-24) and helps you handle life’s challenges with wisdom and productivity (Matt 10:16).

He reminded us that growing spiritually equips us to fight spiritual battles with confidence (Ps 18:31–34) and, most importantly, enables God to trust us with deeper revelations and divine secrets (Ps 25:14; Dan 2:22).
