This month’s All Things Are Possible service was a divine reminder that God is never done with His people. Pastor Abraham Adesayo shared a stirring message titled “When God Does New Things,” calling believers to expect fresh encounters, new beginnings, and divine turnarounds.
A Few Truths About God and New Things
God loves new things.
“Behold, I make all things new.” — Revelation 21:5
God delights in transforming lives, restoring brokenness, and turning impossibilities into testimonies. His mercies are renewed daily.
Every sunrise carries new grace. Lamentations 3:22–23 reminds us that no failure or mistake can cancel the mercy of a faithful God.His promise to do new things still stands.
God’s word in Isaiah 42:9 is timeless — He’s not finished with you; He’s preparing something greater. He does new things to reveal His glory.
In John 9:3, Jesus healed the blind man, not because of sin, but to show what great things God can do. When God moves in your life, others see His power and goodness through you.He makes you a wonder to many.
Like Lazarus in John 12:9–11, your testimony can draw many to faith. God does new things to make your life a living witness of His greatness. He does new things to prove His faithfulness.
In Ezekiel 36:22, God reminded Israel that His acts of restoration were not just for their sake but to honor His holy name. When He blesses you, He’s also revealing His reliability to the world.
Positioning Yourself for the New Things
God is always ready to do something new, but we must align our hearts to receive it.
Pastor Abraham shared key steps:
Don’t judge tomorrow by yesterday. God’s next move in your life won’t look like what He did before.
Release the past. Guilt and regret create barriers to new beginnings.
Have faith for the new. Believe that God can start now — not next month, not next year, but now.
Expect divine surprises. When faith and expectation meet, heaven moves.
Final Reflection
God is still in the business of doing new things. The delay is not denial; it’s preparation. Stay expectant, stay faithful, and stay ready — because what’s coming next will be undeniably God.
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing.” — Isaiah 43:18–19
